Yoga and Ayurveda are Sister Sciences, designed to work together in harmony. Practicing one without the other significantly inhibits our ability to achieve the

physical, emotional and spiritual Healing we seek

Once upon a time…

A yogic master and his disciple were meditating on why they still got broken bones and suffered from disease despite their commitment to their practice. God responded by giving them the wisdom of Ayurveda, the science of life, so they could pursue their spiritual goals all while keeping their body healthy and whole.

Yogis, meet your long lost sister - Ayurveda. Together you two can heal your health, strengthen your body, and pretty much take on the world.

Yoga & Ayurveda are sister sciences both stemming from from the traditional Vedic system of healthcare. They both aim to better balance the body, mind and spirit for optimal health and support you to attain union with self. However, Ayurveda is the Vedic system developed specifically for health and healing and Yoga is the Vedic system of spiritual practice. Yoga was never originally designed to be a medical system. It does not aim to address physical or psychological disease or it’s treatment, but rather aims to relieve spiritual suffering and attain oneness or pure consciousness. Ayurveda provides us a complete mind-body system of medicine in terms of all aspects of diagnosis and treatment that reflects Vedic and Yogic values, and wisdom and approach. So while Yoga harmonises the mind, body and soul, Ayurveda takes care of a person’s physical and mental well-being through diet, treatments, herbs and lifestyle. For a holistic & spiritual approach to medicine and healing, we need both Yoga & Ayurveda. Combining the full application of both offers us a complete and unparalleled system of well-being for body, mind, and spirit.
This the original Vedic system.

The journey of Ayurveda and Yoga is the journey of healing ourselves physically, emotionally spiritually. What begins with looking at oneself and examining ones challenges ends with self-realisation and the awareness of Divine unity in all creation. It is the journey of a thousand miles and it begins with the first step
